Revision of electrical appliances and tools
Elektrické spotrebiče, elektrické náradie a predlžovacie prívody musia počas používania spĺňať požiadavky na bezpečnosť a ochranu zdravia pri práci. Zamestnávateľ je povinný zabezpečovať ich kontrolu, údržbu a overovanie bezpečného technického stavu v súlade so zákonom č. 124/2006 Z. z. a súvisiacimi predpismi BOZP. Revízie a kontroly elektrických spotrebičov a predlžovacích prívodov sa od 1. mája 2025 riadia najmä normou STN 33 1630:2025, ktorá nahrádza pôvodné normy STN 33 1600 a STN 33 1610; tieto zostali použiteľné v prechodnom období do 1. mája 2027. Cieľom revízie elektrických spotrebičov a náradia je overiť bezpečnosť používania, technický stav zariadení a ochranu osôb pred zásahom elektrickým prúdom.

Elektrické ručné náradie, elektrické spotrebiče a predlžovacie prívody musia byť počas používania bezpečné a udržiavané v stave spôsobilom na prevádzku. Zamestnávateľ je povinný zabezpečiť ich kontrolu, údržbu a overovanie bezpečného technického stavu v súlade so zákonom č. 124/2006 Z. z. a súvisiacimi predpismi BOZP. Revízia elektrického ručného náradia a revízia elektrických spotrebičov sa vykonáva aj po oprave, ak je potrebné overiť bezpečnosť zariadenia pred jeho opätovným uvedením do používania. Kontroly a revízie elektrických spotrebičov a predlžovacích prívodov sa od 1. mája 2025 riadia najmä normou STN 33 1630:2025, ktorá nahrádza STN 33 1600 a STN 33 1610; pôvodné normy sa môžu súbežne používať do 1. mája 2027. Revízie elektrického ručného náradia a elektrických spotrebičov vykonávame meracími prístrojmi priamo na mieste ich používania, vrátane potrebných meraní, kontroly technického stavu, označenia zariadení a vypracovania protokolu alebo záznamu o kontrole. Tool Groups By Use:
A - the tool is used only occasionally (up to a maximum of 100 operating hours per year)
B - the tool is used frequently but for short periods of time (100 to 250 operating hours per year)
C - the tool is used frequently and for long periods of time (more than 250 operating hours per year)

Distribution of Electrical Appliances:
- electrical appliances held in the hand during normal use (they are the most dangerous)
- portable appliances up to 18 kg (not permanently connected - this includes a personal computer)
- non-portable appliances, heavier than 18 kg
The division of electrical appliances into groups for the purpose of inspection:
- Group A: appliances provided on a rental basis to another user
- Group B: appliances used outdoors
- Group C: appliances used in industrial and craft activities indoors
- Group D: appliances used in publicly accessible areas (schools, clubs, hotels, etc.)
- Group E: appliances used in administrative activities.
We perform all necessary measurements of appliances and tools. The most basic include:
- Resistance measurement of protective conductor (RPE)
- measurement of insulation resistance (RIZ)
- measurement of alternate leakage current (ID) - alternate method
- measurement of the current flowing through the protective conductor (IPE)
- touch current measurement (IF)
- measurement of differential leakage current (IΔ)

Recording by barcodes
For customers, we also keep track of equipment using unique barcodes that are assigned during the inspection. The equipment can then be accurately typed and this unique code can be used for invertarization. The appliance and tool registration card will contain our unique code, eliminating unnecessary inconvenience in the event of an inspection.
Who is Obliged to Carry Out El. Appliances And Tools ?
Act No. 124/2006 Z.z. paragraph 1 §9 "Control activities" , says the employer is obliged to:
Comply with all legislation and standards and other regulations to ensure OSH, the principles of safe work, occupational health and safety and to ensure workplace behaviour, in particular to control:

§13 "Safety of buildings, work areas, work equipment and work practices" of Act No. 124/2006 Z.z. paragraph 3 , the employer is obliged to:
The employer may use buildings, their components and work areas, operate work equipment and use work procedures only if they comply with the regulations for ensuring occupational safety and health, if the conditions defined by their designer, constructor, creator or manufacturer are complied with, and after maintenance, inspections, checks, tests, official tests or professional inspections and professional tests provided for by special regulations or the manufacturer's technical documentation have been carried out.Quoted from www.zakonypreludi.sk
Thus, it follows that every employer is obliged to provide at regular intervals professional inspections and professional tests (OpaOS) otherwise known as. inspections and checks on electrical HVAC, on electrical appliances, thereby ensuring the basic safety requirement of protecting workers from possible electric shock.
