Qualification requirements for the person responsible for the electrical installation
We ensure the performance of the responsible person according to STN 34 3100: 2001, Act No. 124/2006 Coll. on Occupational Safety and Health Protection and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts as amended and Decree No. 508/2009 Coll. of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, According to the standards, decrees and the statement of the Labour Inspectorate : According to Article 2.14 of STN 34 3100:2001, the person in charge of the operation of the electrical installation is the person in charge of the direct management responsibility for the operation of the electrical installation and must meet the qualifications of a knowledgeable person with higher qualifications. A person with a higher qualification within the meaning of Article 4.4 of STN 34 3100:2001 is a person with professional competence according to Section 22, Section 23 and Section 24 of Decree No 508/2009 Coll, i.e. an electrician for independent activity § 22, an electrician for the management of an activity or operation § 23 or an inspection technician § 24. Thus, it is not sufficient to have a professional qualification according to § 20 instructed person, nor according to § 21 electrician of Decree No 508/2009 Coll. The obligation of the employer to have a designated person responsible for the operation of each electrical installation results from the provisions of Article 3.4 of STN 34 3100:2001. The person responsible for the operation of the electrical installation is responsible for the safe operation and activity on the electrical installation and its electrical equipment, decides on professional work on the electrical installation, carries out or directs and organises this activity, organises and ensures the safety of work on electrical installations when carried out by foreign workers (workers of other external companies and contractors) and supervises this work (e.g. Art.7.5.2., Article 7.5.3. of STN 34 3100:2001), ensures the issuing of 'B' orders and 'PPN' orders for certain specific work on electrical installations (e.g. Article 5.3.1.4 and Article 5.3.1.5, Art.5.3.1.9, 5.3.1.13 and Art.5.3.1.14, Art.5.3.4.2, Art.5.3.9.1 of STN 34 3100:2001), etc.
